Job Purpose Overview:
We are seeking a pro-active and hands-on Day Support Operative to join our Speciality Team. This role will support daily production activities including bagging operations, stock control and materials handling.
Responsibilities:
Operate bagging equipment for Speciality products and 25kg bagging as required- Carry out pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
- Operate forklifts for loading and off-loading activities
- Monitor daily stock levels and complete weekly stock takes
- Ensure timely collection and availability of raw materials for production
- Maintain quality control and compliance with health & safety requirements
- Reconcile batch numbers within quality systems and with Customer Service
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Valid forklift licence (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT literate
- Ability to self-motivate, work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of team and communicate effectively with others
