Lime Process is a department within the manufacturing chain, assisting in all aspects of running of the site. Personnel ensure that all on-site activities are carried out safely, complying with legislation and company policies. People safety, plant efficiency and product quality of operational area is the focus. With involvement in people management, the planning of fixed and mobile plant operations, maintenance activities and general administration.
Job Purpose Overview
This role will provide support to the lime technicians ensuring that plant is running to the required specifications by conducting frequent testing of products, ensuring plant is running as efficiently as possible. The role will provide routine cleaning to make sure the plant is operating in a safe manner. Reacting to all breakdowns to troubleshoot and rectify any issues which may occur.
Please note, this role will be required to work on a shift basis which will include covering days, nights, weekends and on call days.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping on process plants including using the internal vac system, working with your supervisor and engineering team to drive out any spillage.
- Assist with tasks within your capability on all process plants through the co-ordination of the supervisor
- Monitor and react to quality issues following sampling, testing and product release for plants.
- Ensure all environmental systems are functioning correctly under our commitment to the environment.
- Assist to make sure poke holes are kept clear of blockages.
- Ensure issues including but not limited to spillages, plant issues and mechanical issues are reported to the appropriate stakeholders which include the Lime Process Supervisor, Central Control Room and Plant Engineering in a timely manner so solutions can be found quickly
- Provide continual feedback through proactive communication, ensuring the production customer and your colleagues receive more feedback than they expect.
- Liaise with Central Control Room Operators to ensure a constant supply of burnt lime is available for the plant processes.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
- A good level of IT knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word)
