Lime Process is a department within the manufacturing chain, assisting in all aspects of running of the site. Personnel ensure that all on-site activities are carried out safely, complying with legislation and company policies. People safety, plant efficiency and product quality of operational area is the focus. With involvement in people management, the planning of fixed and mobile plant operations, maintenance activities and general administration.
Job Purpose Overview
We are looking for a Process Shift Supervisor. In this role, you will provide supervision to operators and will be responsible for the smooth running of processes in a safe manner within the Lime Department and ensure products are delivered on-time and efficiently. You will continuously monitor and improve processes to ensure maximum output, cost efficiency and safe working conditions.
You will ensure that all products are produced within specifications as laid out in the process checks. You must be able to show clear ability to lead and motivate the team, supporting them with their understanding and development of the process.
Please note, this role will be based on a shift rota which will include days, nights and weekend cover.
Work location: In person – Melton Ross, Barnetby-le-Wold, Lincolnshire

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Ensure your area(s) of responsibility comply with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures. Ensuring all personnel work safely and understand their health and safety obligations.
- Supervise the employees in your area(s) of responsibility ensuring maximum productivity.
- Ensure all TEEP targets are achieved or exceeded and improve yields by reducing costs, i.e., investigating alternative materials or new machinery to improve efficiency and quality in bottleneck areas.
- Supervision of the Central Control Room, associated personnel and plant, driving efficient plant operations whilst ensuring maximum productivity and quality of products whilst maintaining Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) results to a high standard.
- Coach and train team to increase knowledge both in the process and with personal effectiveness.
- Chair team meetings and toolbox talks, bringing information from other departments.
Some of the Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Level 3 CMI or ILM
- Demonstrable experience in material handling, stone and powder processing
- IOSH Managing Safely
- A good level of IT knowledge in Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Project
