Singleton Birch supporting Engineering UTC
January 11, 2022Opening of New Welfare Facilities
April 11, 2022The Birch Solutions team turned from managing and maintaining #anaerobic digestion plants this week and instead dedicated some time to helping the people of Ukraine by volunteering at McArthur Agriculture which has become a collection point for donations for the war-torn nation.
MD Mark Sacker, Head of Operations Simon Blades, Business Development Manager Nigel Thompson and Customer Service & Administration Manager Viki Winton gave up their time for a day to help process the mountain of donations and get it ready to be shipped to the Ukraine.
McArthur Agriculture opened their warehouse for donations at the start of the conflict and have been inundated with goods from local people. A range of local businesses have been donating a huge range of goods to help and Morrisons have also been donating food for the volunteers.
Mark said: “We’ve been horrified by the events in Ukraine and wanted to do anything we could to show our support. McArthur Agriculture have really been incredible and have even stopped some production to keep accepting donations. It was great to be able to help them in a small way and ensure that the people of the Ukraine get all the help and support they need.”
